Video Marketing Tips – 3 Strategies to Get More Engagement on LinkedIn

Video Marketing on LinkedIn is one of the newest methods to market a business online. While still on the platform, you are able to launch lead generation with natural video content, and never pay a dime! In some cases it even performs better than paid advertising.

To start using video marketing on LinkedIn, first go to the “engers” tab on the left-hand navigation bar and click “Add”. Once you have chosen an application, click “Start” to get started. Depending on the profile you have chosen, you will see various options for video backgrounds and recording your video straight away. If you have a private profile, your audience won’t be able to view it, but if you are using the public profile you will be able to post your video directly.

LinkedIn has recently added the ability to create public videos from your profile using their new mobile SDK. Now you too can create engaging videos that can reach a wide audience and engage your audience in the conversation. With just a few clicks of your mouse, you can create a video ad that will show up on a wide variety of news feeds across the network, reaching an engaging audience of people who might be actively searching for solutions to their problems. If you have not created an account yet, you are encouraged to do so as soon as possible to maximize the visibility of your brand on this social media platform.

LinkedIn is an ideal place to share information with potential customers. As long as you use video marketing wisely to encourage engagement with your audience, you should enjoy great results from this unique social media platform. First, if you haven’t already created an account, go ahead and do so. LinkedIn is a fantastic tool for lead generation and engagement. Once you have an account, start building relationships and gain valuable partnerships.

To maximize your impact through video marketing on LinkedIn, you must first become a trusted advisor. Share valuable information with your potential clients, but don’t make it seem like you are trying to sell them on anything. People value a company that is transparent about how they provide a service and one way to show your clients how you do this is by making available content that is well-researched, containing useful information and that you have created yourself. If you want to build strong relationships and gain the trust as a trusted advisor to your prospects, then you need to be open and show them that you are interested in helping them solve their problems, too.

The second strategy I am going to discuss using video marketing on LinkedIn is to get started with Instagram. I know that many of you aren’t familiar with Instagram, but I can tell you that this social media platform is the next big thing when it comes to sharing information and connecting with prospects. The great thing about using Instagram is that you don’t need to create an individual page or blog to use it. You can simply add a simple link in your LinkedIn profile, and anyone who is connected to you will be able to see what you are posting. In fact, people are starting to search for business groups and micro-blogging sites like Facebook and twitter to find new businesses to join and connect with.

Finally, the third strategy I am going to discuss for maximizing your impact and gaining high engagement on LinkedIn is by using video marketing on CTA. There are several popular ways to place a CTA within your LinkedIn posts, but the one that has been working for me (and works for most of my clients) is using short, captioned videos. People love captivating and funny videos, so feel free to post some of your own! Videos are great because they can reach a lot of people quickly and that means that you will gain more engagement from your audience. It’s also easy to make changes to a video and repurpose it to fit different LinkedIn pages.

Using these three strategies, you will find that you will start to see an increase in engagement from your audience. From there, you will be able to convert that engagement into more sales and a higher revenue per sale. Don’t get me wrong, there will be other ways to drive traffic and engage your audience on these social media platforms, but if you aren’t getting the results you want, it may be time to move on. However, if you are willing to put forth the effort, I believe video marketing on cta will give you a substantial return on your investment.
