As an SEO Content Writer, you’ll be part of a growing team dedicated to growing our organic content rankings in the SERPs.
This position is remote with flexible hours. If change doesn’t excite you, this position may not be right for you. We require SEO writers be highly adaptable to the changing landscape of SEO best practices and Google algorithm updates.
You will be responsible for optimizing content to increase organic traffic and SERP ranking. We have a quality assurance checklist, so you know what’s a priority during this process.
- Master of Basic SEO (if you don’t know what a keyword and optimized anchor text are this isn’t the right position for you)
- Must have a working knowledge of WordPress or its equivalent.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/tasks
- Treats freelance SEO Content Writing like a small business (Ownership Mentality)
- The ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
- The ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Preferred: A bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Publishing, Rhetoric or a similar field
