This Pinay Vlogger Recreated Seo Ye Ji’s Most Iconic Looks from “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay”

Itâs no secret how obsessed we were still are with the K-drama Itâs Okay to Not Be Okay. Of course, one of the things we absolutely love about it is its unconventional leading lady Ko Mun-yeong (played by Korean actress Seo Ye Ji) and her jaw-dropping outfits in the show. And just like the rest of us, local influencer Rhea Bue is apparently a huge fan as well! Case in point: The vlogger just released an entire video on YouTube dedicated to recreating the most iconic looks of Ko Mun-yeong in IOTNBO.

TOP STORY: 10 Most Expensive Designer Tees Owned by Local Celebrities

Rhea, admittedly a fan of the K-drama and Ye Jiâs style, spent the first half of the video trying to nail the actressâ signature makeupâwhich we think she did a great job in! Shortly after, the vlogger changed into her first Ko Mun-yeong outfit. She chose three looks in total, and according to Rhea, all of the clothes she featured were replicas that she bought online from Shopee.

Here are the most memorable looks of Ko Mun-yeong recreated by Rhea Bue:

1. Powder Blue Tweet Set

One of Ko Mun-yeong’s most unforgettable looks from the show was when she wore a set of powder blue co-ords. She had her short hair pulled back in a ponytail, which Rhea copied to a tee. The blogger also wore a pair of strappy white sandals from local brand Milli Label to substitute for Ko Mun-yeong’s Jimmy Choo stilettos.

2. Black Blazer Dress

Ko Mun-yeong wore a lot of LBDs in the drama, but one of our faves has got to be this blazer dress with pleated skirt, which she wore for a book-signing event. The dress Rhea scored online had identical pleats on the sides of the skirt, albeit it was a tad bigger so the blogger had to tie it from the back to achieve the same effect as Ko Mun-yeong’s internet-famous tiny waist. Of course, the gold dangling earrings were non-negotiable as well. She finished off the look with knee-high socks and a pair of black suede boots, which was the most similar she could find in her shoe closet that resembled Mun-yeong’s Bottega Venetta lace-up platform booties.

3. Ruffled Blouse with a Belt

The statement-making Minju Kim piece that Ko Mun-yeong wore in Episode 3 of IOTNBO is actually an oversized blouse that she wore as a dress and cinched on the waist using a wide Loewe obi belt. Rhea’s version managed to capture identical elements, such as its ovoid silhouette and the wide leather belt that came in the same hue. She completed the look with knee-high camel boots and sleek, mid-parted hair.
