Sterling Services Partners with RevLocal to Enhance Online Presence and Improve Local SEO – The Sterling Companies

HAMTRAMCK, Mich. — Sterling Services recently partnered with RevLocal to enhance their presence on digital platforms and search engines. RevLocal is a digital marketing company that helps businesses “maximize their online presence with a personalized approach to digital marketing.” They are experts in the field of local search engine optimization (SEO), strategies, social media engagement, and digital advertising.

The new relationship will give Sterling an edge up on the competition as they address local search engine optimization, digital strategies, presence management, and social media optimization and engagement. Sterling’s partnership with RevLocal started through the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce as they built a relationship with Daniel Stevens from their Royal Oak office. That relationship led to Sterling working with Stevens to help increase their web presence.

Sterling’s online presence began to take hold in 2015 when they launched their new website, sterlingcompanies.com. They added to that presence in spring of 2019, when they launched a series of videos highlighting the facilities operations. In the summer of 2019, Sterling invested time into crafting its web presence by instituting keywords and tags into current and future website content. Those adjustments increased Sterling’s presence on the web, but it was not fully integrated with Google’s atmosphere. RevLocal can help them achieve that goal by getting their information accurately across all local search engines to help enhance their standings within the Google algorithm. They will also assist Sterling with social media best practices and optimization for better results when searching for them on that website.  These changes allow Sterling to reach a larger search population in their local region and then they can use the data to make tweaks to keywords, content, and tags on their website.

“For us, we are a small business and we wear many hats, so we are looking at SEO as a possible lead generation tool for us.” Jason Eddleston, VP of Operations, explained. “Last year we worked on making our website more visible in online searches, but adding this service allows us to fine tune our online directories and enhance our local SEO which will give us more credibility through the Google algorithm, in turn, giving us more visibility in search queries.”
