Seo Ye Ji’s Most Dazzling Designer Shoes on “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay”

Itâs been a week since everyoneâs latest K-drama obsession, Itâs Okay to Not Be Okay ended, and honestly, we still canâ get over it. Ko Mun-yeong (Seo Ye Ji) and Moon Gang-taeâs (Kim Soo Hyun) whirlwind romance was one hell of a ride, but as you know, we were also equally enamored with all the FASHION on the show. There was just so much sartorial goodness to sink our teeth into, what with Seo Ye Ji donning a bevy of designer looks every episode. Weâve already covered everything from her bags, to jewelry and timepieces. Now, itâs time to put the spotlight on her steppers, because admit it, we all want to steal her shoe collection!

Below, we round up her most dazzling designer shoes on the show for your pleasure:

1. Prada Pumps

Remember that goosebump-inducing scene where Seo Ye Ji donned crimson red patent leather pumps from Prada? In case you missed it, this scene actually alluded to The Red Shoes, a fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen, a story of a girl whose red shoes never made her stop dancing. Weâll never forget that moment she came face-to-face with Moon Gang-tae and declared, âI have found my red shoes.â Ahhh, swoon!

2. Jimmy Choo Thyra Sandals

Episode 6 had our jaws on the floor when Seo Ye Ji showed up in pink coords by Minju Kim that highlighted her tiny, tiny waist. Well, if you were too busy staring at her slim figure, you might have missed her shoes. She was, in fact, wearing a gorgeous pair of Jimmy Choo heels covered with crystal embellishment and finished with a knot detail. Even the beige suede insole shimmers!

3. Christian Louboutin Planet Choc Embellished Mules

True fans of the show know how much Mun-yeong loves black ensembles, so we werenât surprised to see that she wore one on her birthday. Black may be a shortcut to looking posh like Mun-yeong, but she proves that it doesnât hurt to add a pop of color. She finished her look with pink pointy-toed stiletto heels from Christian Louboutin that was gilded with gold pyramid studs.

4. Aquazzura Tequila Sandals

This wouldnât be a list of her fabulous shoes without those stunning heels she wore in that iconic family portrait episode. You know, the one where she wore an outfit that cost over five million pesos. To finish off her crisp shirtdress from Prada, Mun-yeong slipped into a pair of crystal-embellished leather sandals from Aquazzura. Fun fact: These shoes were actually inspired by vintage dance shoes from the â40s, so theyâre not only super stylish but comfy, too! Oh, and remember that time she wore a floral Minju Kim frock? She wore the exact same pair with that outfit, too!

5. Rochas Crystal-Embellished Mules

It seems like Mun-yeong has a thing for glittering footwear. In fact, she loves them so much that she even wore a designer pair with one of those designer nightgowns sheâs always donning. In Episode 15, she was caught in a salmon Givenchy ânightgownâ and Rochas mules. Made with black nylon fabric, these Italian-made shoes feature a trail of crystal embellishments on the side and a heel slightly higher than kitten heelsâa little extra height never hurt nobody, Mun-yeong seems to believe.

6. Saint Laurent Betty Platform Pumps

Mun-yeong isnât afraid to take her style game to new heightsâliterally. In Episode 16, she wore a head-to-toe look from Saint Laurent (plus a Chanel bag!), which included sky-high pumps with 140mm heelsâthatâs around five inches. Itâs a good thing these patent leather shoes come with platforms for comfort, but knowing Mun-yeong, she wouldnât need them anyway.

7. Louis Vuitton Madeleine Platform Sandals

Mun-yeong wore a ton of Louis Vuitton clothes in the last episode (gotta end the show with a sartorial bang, right?), including a cute outfit with mixed, vibrant yellow prints that gave major â70s vibes. To seal the look, she wore chunky platform sandals with a vintage-looking circle buckle made with Swarovski crystals.

8. Chanel Calfskin Sneakers

We went crazy when Mun-yeong wore sneakers for the first time on the show (you can check out the exact pair here), and we were even more thrilled to see that she wore sneakers in the last episodeâperhaps a sign of how sheâs a changed woman. Well, this exact pair is none other than calfskin sneakers from Chanel featuring an embossed logo in the back. Mun-yeong owns the all-white pair but thereâs also one with pink accents!

9. Givenchy Pointed Toe Pumps

In true Mun-yeong style, Episode 13 saw the childrenâs book author donning her fave combo of all-black, finished off with stunning shoes. Here, she wears an Alexander McQueen blazer and skirt, completed with fabulous Givenchy pumps, whose heels are accented with gold hardware. Leave it to Mun-yeong to pay close attention to details!

10. Jimmy Choo Sacora Glitter Ball Sandals

Okay, weâll admit it: Weâre particularly smitten with this outfit from Episode 8 because weâre hardcore fans of the preppy schoolgirl styles from the â90s (who isnât?). We love how Mun-yeong wasnât afraid to take her cute outfit to the next level by amplifying the glam with a pair of ivory heels from Jimmy Choo. Made with white leather and silver-tone hardware, these open-toed shoes have a 85mm heel thatâs perfect for both day and night affairs.
