Meet Our New SEO Manager – Paul | Limely

We’d like to introduce you to the newest member of the team, our new SEO Manager – Paul Gregory!

It was only last month that we welcomed Magento Developer Carmine to the team, but we thought ‘You know what, let’s make it a team of 11!’. And with that, we introduced Paul to the Limely family.

SEO is a brand new area for Limely and we couldn’t think of a better person to take the lead! Since we’re not back in the office yet, we can’t do our usual song and dance for our newcomer. But we can stick to tradition and present to you a few words from the man himself so we, and you, could get to know him a little bit better. So – say hi to Paul!

How long have you been an SEO Manager?

Well, I’ve had various SEO related job titles across the years! But I’ve been working in SEO for over 10 years now.  I originally started working in PPC before I saw the SEO light – keep it quiet though!

In spite of working from home, how have you found Limely so far?

It has been really good so far; everyone is really nice and there’s a really good vibe about the whole agency. Everyone is passionate about what they do, and it shows in the quality of the work produced.

What do you get up to outside of work?

Mostly football and computer games. I support Crewe Alexandra so I’m in a small minority there!  Me and my little boy Charlie enjoy playing computer games together, although I can’t get to grips with Minecraft! I also like movies as well as getting out for walks in the countryside with my girlfriend.

What are the last 3 albums you played on Spotify?

RTJ4 – Run the Jewels
The Battle of Los Angeles – Rage Against the Machine

What do you love most about working in SEO?

I love the problem-solving side of SEO, finding out what is happening or what issues need to be fixed and really digging down to solve them. I get a great sense of achievement when I have identified an issue, recognised what caused it and finding a solution.

Also, you are always learning. There’s something new happening in SEO or Digital Marketing on an almost daily basis.

And finally, if you could work with a dream client, who would it be?

Basically, a football or computer games client!

Or one that doesn’t ask “Why aren’t we number one for [whatever keyword they think they should be number 1]!!? Ha-ha!!
