Korean actor Park Seo-joon promotes this year’s Earth Hour in video | The Star

Popular Korean actor Park Seo-joon is reminding everyone about the upcoming Earth Hour in a video titled Time Off For Me And Earth.

Park, who last headlined the K-drama Itaewon Class, was appointed as an honorary ambassador for World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) in 2017.

In this WWF-produced video, Park is seen practising sustainable living such as cycling to get groceries, using a reusable bag for the groceries, reading with natural light as well as drinking from a mug.

And at 8.30pm, he switches off the lights… along with everyone else around the world.

Earth Hour, launched by WWF and its partners in 2007, is held every year on the last Saturday of March “to raise awareness of the issues facing our planet”.

This year it falls on March 27 from 8.30pm to 9.30pm.

Park says in the video: “The future of Earth is in our hands. An hour for Earth, an hour for you.”
