You are going to need to do a bit more legwork in order to get all of the keyword data needed to make proper SEO optimization decisions… But this updated keyword research for 2019 video will get you on the fast track!

First off, you will want to brainstorm all the keyword ideas for your niche, audience and site! If you have not done a full keyword brainstorm yet, watch thsi video:

This process helps you create your “Master Keyword List” that you can rely on for years to come for content marketing and blog (or video) ideas!

But you want to go through the process shown in this video for each topic to do the required keyword research so you can be sure you are creating optimized content focused on the keyword phrases your audience is actually searching!

If you name your posts haphazardly or don’t include the relevant keywords, your site will NEVER get traffic!

In the video, you learn two specific search parameters in order to pull the competition numbers…

For the title tag search, you use- intitle:your keyword

For the URL tag search you use- inurl:your keyword

This will tell Google to show you how many pages it has indexed with your keyword in the title and with your keyword in the URL space.

Finally… What do you do with the keywords you find?
